Why Solar

The argument in support for solar energy is overwhelmingly simple:

  1. It is environmentally friendly! Solar energy is clean, renewable and sustainable and therefore helps you protect the environment.

Consider in 2006 Eskom launched a massive campaign to cut back on the high-energy consumption in South Africa. 2200 jobs were created to deliver 5 3000 000 free compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) to consumers. This reduced the countries energy demand and brought a saving of 229MW.
